Another glitch is using the roll bar on your mouse while holding down shift on PC. This would allow scrolling right and left. But now you can’t do that in DS. BooHoo! I used it all the time!!!! I guess it was a trade off for the ctrl + roll on mouse that allows zooming to be easier. But I liked the right to left shortcut.

With the release of Design Space 6.9 this step is no longer needed. So, do NOT use ctrl + shift + r to resize your documents before saving any more.

I wish I’d read the above Q / A before I did tutorial. Your “saving to Desktop” was the workaround for me too! You might edit the video and place a banner at appropriate second to try this if black box appears on emoji. (Just sayin’). Erica, your tutorials are the best! So easy to follow! Thank you!!

I followed the instructions. Then I played and created a pic in Inkscape. I left my computer for a couple of hours. When i came back I closed the file without saving. Now where do I find the “saved file”? I hadn”t even named it yet. Is it still saved somewhere?

I just learned how to Fill Shapes with text from Erica’s instructional video. My hubby is a fisherman and always has his 52 oz mug with him. His old one wore out, so I needed to create a new image for it. Erica’s video tutorial was great! I hope the pic shows with this explanation. Gayle 1/2019
