Inkscape 1.1 Update: What’s New?

The latest version (1.1) of Inkscape has been officially released and is available for download! This video summarizes the changes with this version, and it is a longer video so I’ve included timestamps below so you can always watch some now and finish later or refer back at any time.

The main question you are probably asking is…”Should I go ahead and update now?” Unless there is a new feature you are super excited to use (most are more minor updates with this release), then it can be smart to wait a month or so until some bugs get fixed since crashes and glitches will be more common in a new release. However, if you love being on the cutting edge and checking out the newest version then by all means go ahead and uninstall your current version and upgrade now 🙂
