The Inkscape course includes a lesson on how to convert photos to SVGs in Inkscape as well. Imaengine is a nice shortcut standalone program but it is for iPad and iPhone – not Mac computers.

You can either bookmark the website in your browser (add to your bookmarks bar for easy access). Or, depending on what browser you use, you should be able to click on the area to the left of the address bar and then drag on to your desktop to create a shortcut.

Hi there! I would recommend completing the course first before starting the tutorials. The course focuses on the essential skills you will utilize in the tutorials which is likely why you’re feeling that way.

You’ll need to trace the image first in order to be able to create the dynamic offset from it.

Hi there! There should be a live preview check box at the bottom right of the trace bitmap window, check that to on and then you should be able to see the preview.
