Share Your SVGs

Hey y’all! Welcome to one of my favorite aspects of the SVG & Me community and that is where you can now share your own SVG creations with fellow members!

Here’s how it works:

  1. Create an SVG in Inkscape or other design software
  2. Go to our SVG & Me Members Dropbox folder
  3. Upload your SVG to share with other members
  4. Browse the folder for SVGs you like from other members.
  5. Write a nice note in the comments and download the new SVG!

P.S. Your designs may get chosen to be featured in our member designs gallery below 🎉

Rules:

I feel like everyone in this awesome community is a good person and so I hardly have to write this, but just in case…

  1. Activity in the folder is tracked so make sure you are not deleting others’ files or sharing the link to this folder with non-members.
  2. No nudity, profanity or mature content should be depicted in designs that you upload. Let’s keep it G rated folks.
  3. Please ensure that all files are virus-free.
  4. It is the uploader’s responsibility to respect all copyright and license restrictions of the designs he/she shares.

If you break these rules, you may be removed from the community without refund. By participating, you are agreeing to these very simple rules that should be very easy to follow 🙂 Please note that files are downloaded at your own risk as there is no way for SVG & Me to guarantee that they are free of viruses or harmful content. We recommend installing an anti-virus software to help prevent any issues. Get Avast here (it’s free and effective).

Prefer to Share Design Space Projects?

This is a great option if it is a project with multiple pieces (e.g. paper flower bouquet) because you can share the entire setup with sizing and quantities already setup and ready to cut! Plus, it is super easy if you aren’t really comfortable with uploading to Dropbox.

However, the only downside is that you cannot share projects that use uploaded files in them, so it is limited to creations you designed in Design Space.
