Can you send me a screenshot via email and let me know which step you’re having trouble with? Happy to help! Make sure that before you do the Path > Difference you convert the text stroke to a path and put the rectangle on the top layer.

What am I doing wrong? It is an empty box something is missing for me here.

It is just showing up as a cut box, nothing is filled in.

Yes, some tools have it but others with less modifications like the rectangle don’t since the only change is the rounding of the edges.
